Leaves, leaves, leaves. Last weekend I cut them all up with the handy, dandy mulching mower my wife bought me last winter. (A bribe. Cut grass regularly, cut leaves in fall, get new mower. It worked.)
Unfortunately, within three days the little mulched pieces had gestated into full grown leaves. I didn’t know they would do that. So now I have about twenty times the leaves I had to begin with.
I jest of course. The dang trees dropped the leaves. Fall has done fell on my yard!!
To keep my frustration at bay, I simply crank up the new mower and whack ‘em again. It sure beats raking and it makes good fertilizer. In memoriam, I present an example of the one that got away.
