Like the last post, this one is from memories of various hikes along the rivers in North Georgia. The Chattahoochee, which originates in the mountains, runs through metro Atlanta.
I the higher elevations, it’s a rocky, mountain stream with big boulders and high rock banks in places. I the metro area and beyond, certain places form wetlands areas.
Eventually, she is renamed the Apalachicola River in Florida and flows to the Gulf of Mexico.
